Who is the audience for TSIS Online?
Frontline contact center staff and their managers.

What kind of Internet connection will we need?
There are two versions of the course:  high bandwidth and medium bandwidth.  For the high bandwidth version, a high-speed internet connection with approx. 300 Kbps or  T1 connection is recommended.  For the medium bandwidth, an internet connection with approx. 128 Kbps is recommended.

What kind of computer hardware and/or software will we need?

  1. Recommended Pentium IV 1.8 GHz system
  2. Recommended RAM 512 MB
  3. Windows 2000 (up to SP6) and Windows XP (up to SP2)
  4. IE version 5.0 to 6.0 on Windows 2000 Pro
  5. IE version 6.0 on Windows XP
  6. Disabled popup blockers
  7. Enabled JavaScript and cookies
  8. Flash Player plug-in version 8.0
  9. Microphone and speakers

How will the scoring be done?
There is a final module with a number of different tests in it.  Scores from these tests will be aggregated and captured in a Learning Management System.  You will also see your overall score for the course.  Your organization will determine the pass/fail level. 

What kind of technical support is included?
Omega provides 4 hours of technical support free, as part of its License arrangement, for generic assessments.  Subsequent technical support is available for $80 US hourly.  Clients can obtain technical support between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM Eastern.

How long will it take a learner to complete TSIS Online?
About four hours.

Does the learner need to take all of TSIS Online at once?
Learners can take as much or as little of TSIS Online as they like at one time, depending on the time they have available.  Their position in the course will be bookmarked, so that they can return to exactly the spot from which they exited.  Sessions of between 30 minutes to 1 hour are recommended.  As learning is a building process, for maximum retention and assimilation, we do recommend that the user complete the entire course within two weeks of starting it.

Will the learner be able to use the course as a reference after completing it?
The learner will have access to the course materials for the entire duration of the time specified in the client contract, which is usually an annual license.

Should the learner print out the Job Aids? 
Omega recommends printing out the Job Aids for use on the job, following the course.
