As President and Chief Executive Officer of Omega Performance—leaders in management consulting and employee development for the financial services industry—Mario leads a global team of senior executives focused on sales, marketing, consulting, research, and product development in 10 countries in which the company operates.
Mario brings 12 years of experience in the performance improvement industry to his leadership role. With an emphasis on developing solutions that address clients’ true performance improvement needs, Mario’s consultative approach has resulted in strong partnerships proven to significantly enhance clients’ key metrics.
Since Mario joined Omega Performance in 2005, clients have rapidly increased their business results by more effectively balancing credit risk and opportunity; developing deeper, more profitable customer relationships; increasing market share and share of wallet; and achieving competitive differentiation in a highly competitive, global marketplace.
Prior to joining Omega Performance, Mario served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Council on Education in Management, a sister company to Omega Performance focused on developing and delivering large-scale public events associated with worker’s compensation, human resources, and employment law. Mario began his successful career in performance improvement with the Institute for International Research (IIR), where he served as Regional Manager for South America at IIR Brazil and IIR Argentina.
While at IIR Brazil, Mario led the company to its most profitable year in history. He is credited with launching the most successful training division in all of IIR, having developed a joint certification curriculum with a highly rated Brazilian university. Mario also developed MasterClass—a research-based, innovative concept in training that combined critical information with a series of highly focused workshops to increase participants’ speed to proficiency in the shortest amount of time.
Mario earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a specialization in Marketing from ESPM, a prominent communication and marketing college located in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
