Credit Unions to Learn Proven Commercial Lending Strategies During October 24, 2006 Webcast

Omega Performance reveals commercial lending strategies and how credit unions can build successful commercial loan portfolios.

CHARLOTTE, NC, October 3, 2006—Omega Performance announces its new webcast, Diving Into Business Lending? A Guide to Safe Waters for Credit Unions. The complimentary, 60-minute webcast will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2006, at 12:00 PM EDT and led by Vicki Martell, vice president-product manager, credit and commercial sales, and John Gass, vice president-senior relationship manager.

Credit union executives, directors, and managers of business lending will learn the most effective commercial lending practices for building more successful business member relationships, improving management of risk in the business portfolio, and smoothly transitioning to business lending activities.

"Diving into the waters of business lending can be hazardous for a credit union," said Martell.  "A business loan isn't just a bigger member loan.  A credit union's ability to effectively and efficiently evaluate business credit risks is a key determinant of success.  So is the need for an organizational framework and management.  This webcast will give attendees insight into evaluating their credit union's readiness to dive into commercial lending and tips for setting up a commercial lending function."

Diving Into Business Lending? A Guide to Safe Waters for Credit Unions is one in a series of web-based events Omega Performance is hosting in 2006.
